Time is best shared with family and friends. The spacious cottage with a large open living/dining area is perfect for family time. With 2 masters suites, a guest room, and a bunk room, it sleeps up to 10 people comfortably.
The kids can do their own thing in the upstairs movie/play area. A computer monitor is available in the guest room in case anyone needs to plug in for a little work. But don't forget to put the work down and kick back on the front porch from sunrise to sunset or relax by the outdoor fire pit once the sun goes down. When you are here, you are Okla Home. This property has a propane grill for guests to use.

Home is beautiful and met all of our needs. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The location is great to pools, parks, outdoor activities etc. My only complaint is that the picture shows a vacant lot next door which is one of the reasons we chose this property. Having never been to CL, I thought that was a green space based on the picture. Instead, there are 2 houses being constructed on that lot. Construction began each morning at 7 a.m. which was not ideal for a restful vacation.

The home was a perfect floor plan for us and our two children and grandchildren. Our recommendation would be to add an armoire to the master bedroom to hang clothes since the closet in that room is locked and provide a little more fire wood since the fire pit is featured in the pictures

This cozy home is in a great location at Carlton Landing, nestled in one of the quaint “neighborhoods” on the property. A short walk gets you to the pools, the Meeting House, beach area and any other spots that will add to your experience. The layout of the home is perfect for congregating for relaxing, eating, and playing games. Decor throughout is so inviting! We enjoyed the fire pit out back and each of us, at some point, just enjoyed relaxing on the front porch giant swing/bed. This is a place you will wish to revisit!

Okla-Home was a wonderful place for my family to gather for 4 days of togetherness. The house is very roomy. We moved about effortlessly. One thing we really enjoyed was the fire pit in the back. We roasted hotdogs, corn on the cob, and s’mores. Every appliance was in tip top condition (with the exception of the oven which maybe had a fire in it before we came because it was full of soot). We would definitely recommend this beautifully furnished home to everyone.

We absolutely love Carlton Landing, it's a unique getaway right in rural Oklahoma. Yes it's on Lake Eufaula but we had an phenomenal time reconnecting with family.

A very nice stay in the Oklahoma Home. Very nice home! It rain all weekend, but we still had fun walking through the town and taking advantage of what we could.
I have three suggestions for the home:
1) replace the lights in the bunk bed room near the beds -- the light bulbs were missing and the lighs were so easy to nudge or hit while sleeping
2) replace the bbq. It could hardly heat to 300 degrees and then, could not maintain that temperature. It was difficult to bbq meals for ten people -- in terms of cooking hamburgers and chicken
3) consider placing concrete in the parking and walking spaces--the dirt and gravel was not pleasant in the raining weather
We will recommend Carlton Landing to our family and friends. These items mentioned hopefully will be taken care of in the near future.

We were traveling with my parents, my Mother-in-law, my two children, my husband and myself. The Better Together house was fantastic! There was plenty of room for everyone, and it was very clean. We had a great time roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and playing games at the big family table. We really enjoyed this home, and will definitely stay in that house again!!

This was our first visit to Carleton Landing and it will not be our last. From the property, amenities, location to the community-this trip exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for an updated, beautifully furnished rental in Carleton Landing. If i had to list a downside, it is only that the home is a longer walk to the pools and lake than others, but you can easily hop in a golf cart or bike. The street is friendly, and plenty of kiddos for my little ones to play with. There is a playground nearby (behind)-walking distance. We had some issues with our booking, but hospitality was very kind and helped us sort things out quickly. I can not wait to return!!!
