This is a lovely home! We enjoyed eating our meals on the screen porch and enjoyed working a puzzle on the front porch. What a relaxing time! The house is in excellent condition. The property management was super friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the Magnolia Escape. It was the perfect size for our family of four. It was close to the Boulevard Pool and the food truck area. I recommend Mama Tig’s Pizza. Very delicious and reasonably priced! We also ate at The Meeting House a few times and it was great too. A few things to be aware of: 1) Even with the map in the app, we had a difficult time finding the home. 2) Between the construction and constant mowing, it was LOUD outside during the day. 3) Pots, pans and baking sheets inside the home aren’t in great shape. They were usable, but definitely could be upgraded. All and all still a wonderful place.

Carlton Landing is a great midwestern getaway. Lake Eufala is a hidden gem, great for boating with all of the sandy beaches on the shore. The house was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Due to all of the construction and the gravel roads, the exterior was very dirty. Areas of the home could use a better attention to detail - dirty blinds and baseboards, dusty shelves. But the areas that really matter were very clean (kitchen, showers, toilets etc.). I would recommend a more regular power wash to the two porches so they are more usable for renters!

Cozy but Spacious Haven!

We loved our stay at Chelsea Cottage! It has a homey feel while still being spacious enough to hold quite a few guests. My favorite part was sitting outside on the side patio with the fire pit but the sunroom is a close second. When you do venture out, you’re within walking distance of everything. A great place to go and relax! Would 100% stay there again.

Our family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids ages 7-13) had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chelsea Cottage! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable everything was. The layout was perfect for our group—plenty of space to spread out, but also cozy areas where we could all gather and make memories together. The kids especially loved the upstairs game/TV room, complete with a Wii and tons of board games—it gave them their own space to hang out while the adults enjoyed relaxing in the living room. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, and we appreciated the big dining table where we could all sit together for meals. The bonus sunroom was the perfect spot for morning coffee. Each of the bedrooms was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, and the Purple mattresses were a dream to sleep on. The bunk room was a hit with the kids! We also enjoyed evenings by the fire pit—especially with the patio string lights casting a cozy, magical glow. It quickly became one of our favorite spots to unwind after a full day of fun. The location truly cannot be beat. We were steps away from Mama Tig’s, the Pop up shops, pools, playgrounds, food trucks, and all the fun that Carlton Landing has to offer. Everything was so accessible, yet the cottage still felt like a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. The high-tech touches like Roku TVs and Starlink internet made our stay even smoother, and we appreciated the little details—like the grill, washer/dryer, and stocked kitchen—that made this place feel like home. We can’t recommend Chelsea Cottage enough for families or groups looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable stay. We’re already talking about going back!

Chelsea Cottage is a beautifully decorated retreat, with extremely comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large outdoor area with a fire pit. The owner has supplied games for all ages, indoor and out. It’s a great location near food vendors, concerts, pop up shops and the Meeting House.. Especially great, is the spacious Carriage House garage apartment, which offers more bedrooms and a kitchen. This is the perfect location for a family reunion or a Girls’ Weekend. The owners have thought of every amenity to make our stay a Perfect Holiday. We will be back!
