Best Location in Carleton Landing

The Chelsea House was the perfect house for our family. It is less than two blocks to the largest pool in the addition. We were also less than two blocks from Tig's Pizza Place where the vendors set up on the weekend. My family stayed three nights, but my family wanted two more weeks!! We didn't really need a golf cart to get to anything, but we rented one the last day just for the kids.

The house had plenty of room for all eight of us. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and is very spacious with a large bathroom and great shower. The younger people stayed upstairs and shared a very large bathroom. The kids loved the space outside the bedrooms to play the video games. The sun room did not have any air conditioning, so we could not sit there, but we did use it to put our floats and pool toys. There is a nice patio area between the Chelsea House and the neighboring house (patio belongs to Chelsea House) and my husband and I enjoyed this shaded area in the mornings as a place to enjoy our coffee. However, there is no shade in the afternoons. The house was very clean and was well stocked with kitchen cookware. I do wish owners had left us more kitchen soap and more soap for the washing machine. There is not a convenience store close by, and it was just too far to drive in to Eufaula. There is a marina store that sells beer, drinks and chips.

This is one of the best houses you can stay in at Carleton Landing due to its location being close enough to walk to many features. We loved it.

Great Weekend and 4th of July

Great extended holiday weekend. The location was exactly what we wanted with being so close to the action downtown and close to the lake pool. Parking was smooth right off the street, which was a concern initially, but I never had an issue. We were able to park a golf cart behind the rental next to the carriage house. Overall, the house was well equipped to support 3 kids and 4 adults. The furniture was like new, and everything looked great. Had plenty of kitchenware to cook and serve everyone.

As with any LakeStay rental, everything was as expected and had plenty of towels and etc. Greatly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace to cook s'mores and grill to cook burgers. The screened patio was the perfect start to the day with a cup of coffee.
